Some awesome websites to build computer and typing skills.

Typing Web for all students click on the student log in on the top right of screen. The student will use the same username and password that they use at school. All work done at home will be recorded into the teachers portal. Students must do their own work at home. They will be tested on their skills at school.
Keyboard Climber - all grades- make the monkey jump up for the bananas and move through the 3 levels, jungle, clouds, outer space, till you reach the moon.
Keyboard Climber 2 - 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades - Make the monkey jump for the bananas. Level 1, lower case letters. Level 2, uppercase letters. Level 3, a mix of upper and lower case letters. Level 4, numbers. All must be done with hands on home row, even the numbers on the top. You must also use the shift key for uppercase letters NOT the caps lock key.
Brown Bear - all grades- type the letters. Start at level 1 and move through 12 levels. You will be timed. 2nd grade and up MUST use home row and proper typing skills.
Stacking cups - all grades- stack and un-stack the cups by typing the white letters. You will be timed. Try to beat your best time. 2nd grade and up MUST use home row and proper typing skills.
Keyboarding Zoo - K and 1st grade- Type the letters. You choose to type by letter name or letter sound.
Rocket Jr. typing - K and 1st grade - Type the letters on the rockets to make them explode. You have 3 minutes to complete your mission.
Rocket typing - 2nd and 3rd grade - Type the letters on the rockets to make them explode. A much faster pace than Rocket Jr. You have 1 minute to complete your mission.
Monkey Paws - K and 1st grade - type the letters. If the letter is purple use your left hand if the letter is green use your right hand.
Find the technology - 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade - Find the technology items in the room then answer a question about it. The items move around in the room each time you play it.
Keyboard Invasion- 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade - Type the words using home row to eliminate the aliens.
Keyboarding Challenge- 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade - Unscramble the keyboard. You can choose just letters and numbers or the whole keyboard.
Sky Chase - 2nd, 3rd, 4th Fly your airplane in a race by spelling small words. You can compete with other students.
Ninja Cat - 3rd and 4th and Jr. High - Travel with Ninja Cat and get through danger by typing letters, words, and numbers.
